Nina Kucyk, Psy.D, PCC-S, NCC

As founder of THWC, I believe in a holistic

approach to healing. My specialty is working with

the mind.  I incorporate mindfulness-based

psychotherapy when dealing with a variety of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, or struggling with everyday stressors, to name a few.  I received my Doctorate in Psychology from Southern California University, specializing in trauma and loss; am a Licensed Clinical Counselor - Supervisor status, National Certified Counselor, and a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress from the National Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.  Along with extensive training and experience in working with stress, from anxiety to panic attacks to Post-Traumatic Stress, I have also received extensive training in MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, attended many meditation trainings, week-long retreats, and continue a personal meditation practice today.

Jennifer Mizicko, PCC, LSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Counselor and

Social Worker with a Master's Degree in Counseling and

Human Development from Walsh University. I

have been working in the field of trauma and substance abuse for over 15 years and been awed by the healing I have seen. Humans have such a capacity to heal and grow that it is nothing short of miraculous to be a part of that healing.

Jennifer Seda-Miller PCC-S

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

and Supervisor, and have been working in the field

since 2013. I especially enjoy working with teens and

young adults, who need to know that they are not alone in their struggles. I have experience working with couples/partners to improve their relationships. My passion is working with people who identify as trans* or are working through gender identity issues. I provide assessment and referral to medical providers. My clients would say that together, we work on a variety of concerns, from anxiety, depression, life-skills, relationships, adjusting to changes, self-acceptance to finding their place within their family/community.

Theresa Carroll PCC-S

I am a Clinical Counselor with a Master's

Degree in Counseling and Human Development

from Walsh University who has been practicing

for over 15years.  As a therapist, I have worked

extensively with issues impacting the lives of women, whether related to self-esteem, abuse, or relationship issues. In addition, I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression.  I have constantly been amazed at the strengths many people do not realize they have, that therapy can help them discover.

Nancy Castle PCC

I am a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 20yrs working with children and families, 6 years as a counselor, and 14 as a school teacher. During that time, I have experienced witnessing the power of the human spirit and mind in transforming suffering into healing through the therapeutic process.  My experience includes working with children from age of 3 through adulthood with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to:  anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns, autism spectrum disorders, grief and trauma.  I honor the therapeutic relationship as it takes courage to allow oneself to be vulnerable with another.  Asking for help is often difficult, but it is the first step toward living one's life with more peace and joy.  Together let's walk together toward wellness.
